This application note shows how to receive GPS data via the NMEA-0183 protocol and the serial interface of the MicroAutoBox.
A dedicated GPS blockset for Simulink® is provided allowing the data to be decoded by means of an S-function.
The application note comprises a demo model, a Simulink blockset including S-function source code, and a ControlDesk experiment.
The example was created using MATLAB R2007a+ (Simulink 6.6.1) and dSPACE Release 6.0.
Please notice that this is an application example which can be adapted easily to newer MATLAB and dSPACE releases.
The implementation comes without any warranty.
Note: This application is not for ConfigurationDesk and MicroAutoBox III
