Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA)
The Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA) is a consortium of automotive technology companies with the goal of advancing the standardization of asymmetrical, high-performance SerDes (serializer/deserializer) technology for broadband connection of sensors for autonomous driving.
dSPACE is a member (Status: Adopter) of the ASA Automotive SerDes Alliance. SerDes standardization is of high relevance for applications in the areas of prototyping, data logging, and test systems for autonomous driving. The dSPACE membership and future participation in the ASA is of direct benefit to dSPACE customers, because it ensures that their solution requirements are considered early on in the development process of new standards and in the products and solutions offered by dSPACE, such as the Environment Sensor Interface (ESI) Unit and the AUTERA product family.
