The new Automotive Simulation Models (ASM) library ASM Battery allows for the real-time simulation of battery systems. The new, fully parameterizable battery demo project makes it easy for users to get started with their battery applications. It is complemented by additional components in the Fuel Cell and Vehicle Dynamics models, which let you set up a real-time-capable vehicle/truck simulation with as many details as required, and integrate and commission the entire vehicle ECU network in closed-loop operation.
An ejector is now included as a new component in the hydrogen supply path in the ASM Fuel Cell library and in the corresponding demo project. Parameterization functions will now be provided to optimize the fuel cell stack parameters based on polarization curves. The functions can be automated and executed with the ModelDesk processing functionality.
In addition, the interfaces to RoadRunner from The Mathworks® were improved. You can now download a ModelDesk Plug-In from the dSPACE website that lets you import RoadRunner OpenDRIVE files to ModelDesk, reducing the need for manual adaptions to the road after import.
