ControlDesk 3.7.2 Patch 4

Introduction

This patch can only be installed on an existing ControlDesk 3.7.2 installation (dSPACE Release 7.2).

Limitations

This setup does not work if ControlDesk 3.7.2 Patch 1 is currently installed.

If you have successfully installed Patch 2 or 3, Patch 1 must have been uninstalled before. In this case, you can install Patch 4 directly.

If you have currently installed Patch 1 and install Patch 4, the setup is executed but no new files are copied to the system. Then you have to uninstall both Patches, 1 and 4, before installing Patch 4 again. 

Perform these steps to uninstall Patch 1 (and 4):

• Open the Windows Control Panel and select Add/Remove programs (Windows XP) / Programs and Features - Uninstall a program (Windows 7).
• Select Show updates / View installed updates at the top of the window.
• Select Remove/Uninstall for Patch 1 (and Patch 4 if installed).
• Finally install Patch 4.
