The precise testing of radar sensors and applications is a critical requirement in development, production, quality assurance, and maintenance. The dSPACE Automotive Radar Test Systems (DARTS) enable easy-to-use but very realistic over-the-air tests. This is done by simulating radar echoes of objects in road traffic with programmable distance, speed, and size.
The jury has found that the dSPACE Automotive Radar Test Systems (DARTS) drastically ease radar testing. They are convinced that the cutting-edge technology of DARTS gives users a leading edge in the fast validation and market introduction of automotive radar sensors.
The panel of judges also recognized the high precision of the generated echoes, wide range coverage, and great versatility of the systems.
A single DARTS-9030 can now simulate multiple independent radar echoes at the same time.
The dSPACE Automotive Radar Test Systems (DARTS) have been approved for a higher bandwidth performance. DARTS 9030-MS and DARTS 9030-M each now offer an operational bandwidth of 1.2 GHz.

Powerful radar target simulators are available for any development and test tasks. They can be configured for use in E-band or K-band. Depending on the application and task, you can choose between scalable modules, desktop devices, and mobile devices. All DARTS are able to simulate radar echoes with the following characteristics: Distance (signal delay), speed (frequency shift, Doppler), and size (radar cross section).
