Engine Parameterization

Elementary engine configurations, such as the number of cylinders, piston displacement and injection maps, can be performed on-screen with just a couple of clicks. One extra click provides the data for online simulation on a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator or for offline simulation with MATLAB®/Simulink®. There is an additional benefit for the simulation of entire vehicles: Because all the parameters of a virtual vehicle are managed centrally in ModelDesk, developers can switch quickly between variants such as different engines. Here too, a couple of clicks suffice. The convenient, tool-supported management facility provides clarity and integrates well into automated processes.
