ConfigurationDesk is the dSPACE solution to connect your simulation models to real-world devices and run them on dSPACE real-time systems like SCALEXIO, MicroAutoBox III, and MicroLabBox II.
Through ConfigurationDesk’s elaborated support of the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI), you can exploit the advantages of this open standard for the tool-independent exchange and integration of simulation models.
A wide variety of modeling tools supports the export of simulation models as Functional Mock-up Unit container files (FMUs). You can readily integrate these FMUs in ConfigurationDesk projects to create powerful HIL or RCP real-time simulations. In such projects, FMUs can be integrated together with other FMUs and Simulink® models for multimodel simulations distributed on the cores and the processing units of the real-time system. The user workflow for importing and connecting FMUs to other model interfaces and to input/output channels is identical for all supported model types.
Access to FMU parameters and variables during real-time simulation is supported by ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, and XIL API.
