The new MicroAutoBox III Embedded PC has everything that is required for in-vehicle use, both as a PC extension for the MicroAutoBox III real-time system and as a stand-alone PC-based prototyping system. Despite its compact size, it offers high computing power for demanding Linux- and Windows®-based tasks.
The high computing power provided by the MicroAutoBox III Embedded PC facilitates its use in the area of assisted driving (ADAS), for example, for running the multisensor software RTMaps and the Robot Operating System (ROS) as well as for infotainment and telematics applications. The MicroAutoBox III Embedded PC helps to conveniently execute dSPACE software, e.g., ControlDesk, in the vehicle. This reduces the number of additionally required devices, such as laptops, on a test drive. It is also possible to connect displays, touchscreens, and dashboards directly to the MicroAutoBox III system to display various types of status information.
The additional computing power of the MicroAutoBox III Embedded PC, whether in combination with a MicroAutoBox III or as a stand-alone unit, offers a multitude of new possibilities, especially in the field of assisted driving.
