The
CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium (C2C-CC) is a nonprofit, industry-driven organization initiated by European vehicle manufacturers and supported by equipment suppliers, research organizations and other partners.
The C2C-CC is dedicated to the objective of further increasing road traffic safety and efficiency by means of cooperative intelligent transport systems (ITS) with vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) supported by vehicle-to-infrastructure communication (V2I).
It supports the creation of European standards for communicating vehicles spanning all brands. As a key contributor the C2C-CC works in close cooperation with the European and international standardization organizations.
In cooperation with infrastructure stakeholders the C2C-CC promotes the joint deployment of cooperative ITS.
Using the online information service of the CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium and attending the annual CAR 2 CAR Forum dSPACE helps keep up-to-date with latest trends and activities, true to our aim to provide a portfolio of tools for developing and testing advanced driver assistance systems.
